This has been my lifetime project: the illustration of the novel the Invisible Cities by Italo Calvino, one of the greatest Italian writers from the XX Century. The earlier works were strictly based on the descriptions of these imaginary cities, while the latter took more inspiration from my inspiration from my own life and experiences, but still trying to preserve the magic of Calvino’s approach.
